LIVE February 24 at 7pm CST ~ The Intersection of Eating Disorders & Pelvic Health

All live courses are recorded for purchasers.

Gastrointestinal distress is frequently reported during eating disorder recovery and may co-occur with pelvic pain or dysfunction, potentially impeding progress. Care from a knowledgeable, HAES-aligned pelvic health rehabilitation specialist can help normalize these symptoms and provide targeted treatment that supports recovery goals while reducing symptom burden.

This class will aim to help participants:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the defining characteristics of eating disorder diagnoses recognized in the DSM-5 and those outside its diagnostic framework.
  • Develop an understanding of the prevalence and co-occurrence of pelvic health dysfunction in individuals with eating disorders.
  • Recognize the impact that eating disorders may have on pelvic floor function.
  • Identify screening resources that can be implemented in clinical practice when an eating disorder is suspected.
  • Compile relevant resources and organizations to support clients in cases of suspected eating disorders.
