This webinar explores the application of strength and conditioning principles to pelvic floor rehabilitation, moving beyond isolated muscle training towards an integrated, load-based approach. Participants will develop an understanding of how the pelvic floor responds to load within functional and performance contexts, and how this can be applied across a range of clinical presentations including pelvic pain, incontinence, and return to sport.

The course emphasizes clinical reasoning, progressive loading strategies, and the integration of the pelvic floor within whole-body movement. Attendees will leave with practical frameworks to design, adapt, and progress rehabilitation programs that reflect both current evidence and real-world demands.

Participants of this class will:

  • Understand the role of load in pelvic floor rehabilitation and dysfunction
  • Apply strength and conditioning principles (e.g. progressive overload, specificity, variability) to pelvic health
  • Differentiate between underactive, overactive, and poorly coordinated pelvic floor presentations in the context of loading
  • Integrate pelvic floor function into whole-body movement and performance-based rehabilitation
  • Develop clinically reasoned exercise progressions for pelvic floor dysfunction across different populations
